DermaReform was founded in 2014 by Ms Ify N. Ngwu, a certified beauty and aesthetics professional with almost two decades of experience in the beauty, skincare and aesthetics industry.
Her qualifications and professional training include certified skincare specialist, licensed skin aesthetician and licensed laser technician, alongside extensive experience working with a wide range of skin types, tones and concerns.
DermaReform grew from something she repeatedly encountered throughout her professional career:
“A gap in the market for effective, professional skincare developed with diverse skin tones and ethnicities in mind.”
She believed skincare could be more inclusive, more personalised and more intelligently formulated. And so, DermaReform was born.
There was a clear need for professional skincare that recognised the differences between skin types, tones, ethnicities and individual concerns.
DermaReform was created to help address that gap through an inclusive approach to skincare formulation and personalised product selection.
We believe effective skincare does not need to be unnecessarily complicated.
Our philosophy is to keep our formulations as considered as possible, combining carefully selected ingredients with modern skincare science to create products designed with a clear purpose.
